CareSTL Health is currently seeking a full-time MIS Network Assistant to maintain and troubleshoot all Hardware and Network Applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all system applications
  • Responsible for maintaining application updates
  • Assist with hardware issues, swapping equipment and installation of new equipment
  • Responsible for all system backups completed and verified
  • Responsible for security of applications

Other Functions:

  • Verify and maintain anti-virus products are up to date and active
  • Assist in servers network connectivity and functionality
  • Work with vendors to maintain applications
  • Assist with website and intranet
  • Assist with phone system
  • Setup and maintain company cell phones
  • Assist with firewall and network access
  • Assists with HL7 interfaces between applications
  • Assist on IT projects
  • Assist in running reports from applications as needed
  • All other duties assigned by the IT Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO)


  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Network and Application Support or related area required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Network and Application Support or related area preferred


  • 1-5 years of experience in healthcare related MIS systems preferred

A Successful Candidate:

  • Good technical skills
  • Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and relay information between multiple parties
  • Familiarity with computer hardware/software systems and administration, hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation, firewall, router and networking experience
