Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Technician maintains a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for health care services.



  • Clean and sanitize all restrooms daily, (scrub toilets, sinks and restroom floor daily) refill supplies as needed. (hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue)
  • Damp mops the entire health center on a daily basis and clean base boards
  • Vacuum areas of the health center that require it on a daily basis
  • Pick up trash on the outside of the building and parking lots on a daily basis
  • Wash windows according to cleaning schedule
  • Wash walls according to cleaning schedule
  • Wipe down patient care areas on a daily basis
  • Perform light maintenance (i.e. painting of areas, clean in the cracks of cove base)
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines and rules in regards to handling of bio-hazardous waste
  • Respond to staff calls in a timely fashion to assist in refreshing supplies, cleaning up spills 


A successful candidate:

  • Able to maintain a clean health care facility
  • Experience in the areas of: window washing, carpet cleaning, floor buffing waxing and stripping, painting, proper handling skills of bio-hazardous waste, and maintaining restroom supplies, removal of trash from the inside and outside of the health center is preferred
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to maintain a clean safe work environment for patients and staff



  • Education:  High School Diploma or GED required
